1. NO ONE ELSE - has a north-east Brazilian rhythm called a "Baiao".I composed it while travelling in Brazil.I played an mbira (an African instrument), guitar and percussion. Paul Kimmel played flute and Amano Wood played sax and bongos. The feel is Afro-Brazilian .
2. LOTUS FLOWER - is based on an Indian "raga". It was recorded live in the studio with only guitar and Paul playing the flighty flute.
3. DANCE OF THE DOLPHINS - composed whilst living on an island in southern Chile. I would sit on the front porch at sunset playing guitar to the dolphins dancing in the waters with the spectacular backdrop of irridecent, snowy, volcanic peaks of the mainland reflected in the still ocean. This breath taking daily scene provided the ultimate inspiration. We recorded this live in the studio, just guitar and superb flute by Paul.
4. FLEETING FOREST - While living in the most beautiful, mountainous forests of Cape Town '76 I wrote many an inspired piece. This is one of them. Paul's flutes are uplifting and awesome.
5. HEAVEN ON EARTH - My friend Les Shill wrote these beautiful lyrics about which I created the music. A song of our common love for nature and this miraculous life.Real heart music. I sang the main vocals with Paula on harmony and Paul Kimmel on flute.
